Hi everybody, my friend at the forest service wants me to write a 2 page paper in place of "comunity service" on the rules and regs of cutting wood on forest service land. I know someone posted a link in the previous thread of mine, but it is long gone. I nees that link or any good source of info on cutting on forest service ground. Look for this paper to be posted in about 2 weeks. Thanks

Another place to go is where ever you can buy fire wood permits. When you buy your load tickets they should come with a map and the rules and regs for cutting. I am looking forward to seeing that paper.

Don't forget to throw some safety items in there. That'll make them happy and you might find out something you don't know already.

Since the forest service is being good about it and not makeing a example out of you, maybe you offer to voulenter for a week this summer. Might even get teh folks off your back some too.

Ohh Yah he's for real no troll

056kid isn't a "troll"

We don't have "trolls" in Virginia. Must be a "western" thing. Please back off with the "troll" nonsense.

As for the comments on grammer.....please! Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Although I am fairly at ease with the english language, but surely not as proficient as most people to whom it is their first or only language for my own education I must ask what is a troll and what do you mean by it ?

This troll word keeps coming up quite often.

Think cruising around the lake while dragging a lure behind you.  Troll here means "one who trolls" and they wish to hook into as many "live ones" as they can.  One method (of many) would be to bait with a story that's almost believable, then play it to the hilt.

Thanks Glen, I initially thought it could be something like that, but after second thought said no, probably not that, has to be something else.

many thanks again,

Be sure to use spell check before you turn it in.

fek off chopwood
Hey Kid-
If you are what you claim to be, I am totally and completely sorry. Being that I have not had the oppurtunity to cut some "big ass" trees, you may be more of a feller than I. I am only a weekend racer, with a little education by the way. I only cut trees to burn in my stove or chop. Like I said kid, if you are not a troll, sorry, but if the shoe fits...........
