I am in the market for a new chipper I have been looking at morbarks and woodsmanI haven't heard much about the woodsman and was wondering if anyone has dealt with them and if parts service available now that. Terex owns them. How are the woodsman I have found a couple with around 800 hours on them some 15 inch capacity with a winch in my price range. Any help would be grateful about these chippers they look well builtbut that doesnt mean much in this line of work sometimes. Thanks

The gentleman who sold out to Terex used to work at Morbark and the Woodsman has some features similar to Morbark. I have a few customers who own them and they seem to be happy with their Woodsman. I don't believe you'll have an issue with Terex for parts. When a company has changed hands, be aware that there might be some transition issues that they're dealing with. Morbark is an established company who has an understanding dealer network.

Hope this helps!

Dave
