Getting thougher.theirs got to be someone out there with one.i had a chance to get 2!1 has same problem as mine.over tighten head studs.the other was priced to far out of my price range.ill buy something eventually or try a swap of some kind.if their is any interest.love to get it running.i did have it running.i bought a pile new parts of mike acres .its the best 270 i have ever had running.just like the saw came right of the accembally line.never have i seen a old 270 run so well.i been the last 6 months trying to get hold of mike but no souch luck!!dont know what the problem is!!??i want to buy a couple more parts.and see if he can help with a cylindar.
Look on Amazon they have AMAZING prices on cylinder heads! Thy usually come with piston and axel/shaft installed and I bought mine for 39$ or less! (I have stihl 025 and it fits the ms250 model aswell)! I'm not sure if urs is rare type of engine though... but worth checking out!
