Here's a nice lil stem doing a dance on the stump before it bit the dust.

Ok Gypo, from pic #2 we all could tell that you hung that one up. Just maybe you need a faster saw or learn to cripple the first half dozen trees up before you try and lay the whole forest over with the key tree. Get your big saw out like you used too and go get that big wood.

Not exactly the kind of "peckerpole" you were looking for in this thread

After not being able to find a bar big enough for falling on my 088KD, I found this 21" Oregon hardnose, so I use it on the landing for bucking the logs out of the stems, wow its fast, 36RS 3/8" square ground. It plows thru the wood like a hot bushchete thru a snowdrift. I got the fastest, loudest saw for at least a 100 mile radius of here. Cant help but groove on this baby. Step aside Paul Bunyan!

Only guy I know that has a Ken Dunn 088 for a landing saw! Nice work Gypo!

BTW, you can always call me if you can`t find a bar locally, I can probably fix you up quickly.

There is no less rolling resistance to this bar than there is with a sprocket nose, which surprised me, judging by how smooth it rolled by hand.

Hi Russ, that 088KD is really alot of fun, It is very easy to handle and a joy to use, starts first pull every time. How much is a 2186 in the U.S of Eh?
I have been using the 385KD for falling with a 24" bar, 7 pin, 35RS, it gets stronger every day, trees still pissing their roots at the mere sight of Ole' Kens saws.

Hey John, is that guy the lead singer from Triumph?

A 2186 with heated grips and 24" bar is $725, how many do you want? I think now is the time to order them because they were scarce last winter. When I go to Boonville I may be able to get a better price.

John,

Where did the deflecter you put on the muffler come from? Im looking for one to put on a 034 ive recently aquired. 3 husky's and 2 stihl's, i have another stihl on the way to even it up.

Rob

Hi Weatherby, Ken put that on, I think it's from a Husky, not sure, but it gets in the way a bit sometimes, no biggy though, just gets bent, so I pry it open with my bar wrench. You should get enough exhaust clearance from opening up the original exhaust port.
