I just picked up this little unit and after using it, am seriously considering distributing this line.
Its pretty amazing and even my son said, "ya its the coolest thing we have ever bought!".
So what do you guy think? Would you pay $15k (price new) for a machine that can mow down bushes and trees like this?

No. I don't see it being useful for anything over about 1" in diameter. It seems to do a nice job of that light brush and weeds. However, for $15,000, it should be able to do more serious shredding. Would never be heavy enough for real serious production work.
If I had a rental yard, I would consider renting out one though. I bet homeowners could use something like this quite often.

That big bush I rolled over had a dozen stocks of over 2". The machine is rated for 4" and can actually do it as demonstrated in the video.
There was a 40" stump and an old pile of logs that got in the way but even they I wasn't worried about damaging the machine, just didn't want to get it stuck.
I have cleared a lot of land in the 20 years I had my tree service and have never seen anything that would get it done so easy. That is short of a full sized forestry mower.
All those spots I hit were areas my Billy Goat couldn't handle so I've just let it go. That's all stuff I would have had to do by hand.
What kind of mowers are you running?

I can see this is way better than a Billy goat brush mower. No comparison there.
I am using a heavy duty brush mower attachment on our skidsteers, for small jobs. For bigger work, we lease tracked forestry mulchers, either Fecon, or Rayco.
For areas like you show in the video, I would go with the skidsteer attachment. It is a lot faster, and you can take it off, and use the skidsteer for other things.
It just seems like a lot of money for a machine that a person probably would only use now and then. Again, it would probably work great in a rental fleet.

I think a new Boxer 30hp would be about $20k, mower attachment must be about $5k.
You see where I'm going with this?
Yes it would only be good for mowing but that is the whole idea.
