Anyone have any experience with these? I am thinking of buying one for the father in law as he is going to start burning pellets in his new house and it gives me a use for the saw dust made from the firewood processor.

Make sure the one you get is rated for wood ( needs a double reduction type drive) Anything larger than say an avg sized pea is going to need to be ground down finer. You likely will need a binder agent as well - note wood types that have a lot of pitch help hold things together but as a rule of thumb need to be thinned out some with none pitchy types. Its a real journey and about 1/3 or more of info on net is not so hot. The other key is the moisture content of the base material 8-12% more than that and it cools the die set down too much and they don't stick together.
