phytophthora bleeding in horse chestnuts

Chestnuts well mature one usually have cracked bark, black ousing gummy liquid is a better sign to look for in Phytopthora

i visited the tree this week and the clients wants it out but i could not really see and reason to have it out other than the cracks in the bark , which i thought would be an indication of the disease !
