Hey everyone. First post!
I recently picked up a couple of project graders.
I"ve already moved one out to the farm and need to move the other one still.
Machine number 1 is 9K5624 which I believe puts it at around 1943. It is a old army grader and has a tag saying it was rebuilt in 1956. This one has a D318 in it. Story is it ran when parked about 8 years ago but the pony engine stopped engaging on it. I'll post more about this one when I get a little more time to type it all out.
Machine number 2 is 9K9874 which I believe puts it around 1945. Same thing with the army tags but this one has the original D4600. This machine has been sitting somewhat longer. Same story of running when parked but the rain cap was left off and it locked up over the winter years ago and its locked up.
Im hoping to get both of these machines back up and running. Looking forward to learning more about them.
