Welcome to the forum, please turn off your "capslock" there is no need to shout. I'm sure there is a resident collector who can point you in the right direction.

Pioneer P41 was a horizontal cylinder with a rear right side mouinted muffler.

Poulan Pro 405 was a Pioneer 41

Poulan Pro 455 is a vertical cylinder, up front muffler by J-Reds.

I have a handle for the Pioneer P41/Poulan Pro 405.

Email me for price/shipping.

sawman, I have a 455 Poulan Pro, and it shares the same chasis as the 405. Jon

I think if you check you will find that the 445 Poulan PRO and 475 Poulan PRO are vertical cylinder saws made in Sweden and as stated the 405 and 445 saws are horizontal cylinder saws using the Pioneer design.

Thanks Mike for catching the 445 vs 455. Your right it, # should be 445.
I sold them, and you'd think I should be able to get the #'s right.

Must have been reminising....thinking about on of my favorite two Olds 442's I had.
1970 Hurst Olds w/ the 455 Rocket engine. All factory with the special fiberglass lockable Ram Air Scoop.
It was a....'vertical'....eight cylinder.
Never should have left it go. Still miss it....badly.
