My buddy is a part time logger-farmer and is in the need of a new saw. His Pioneer 42 is just worn out and he would be very happy to have one in good shape. He has been using it since 1984. I told him I would post a want add.

I have a P45 that runs very well. The only problem is that the air filter needs to be replaced. It has one that is functional, but a new one would be nice. Otherwise, it starts, idles, runs and cuts as it should. The chain brake works and it will come with a 24" and a new (never sharpened) loop of LGX.

On chainsaw repair site a guy I know and have traded many saws (honest in other words) with has a PP405 with PP445 topend on it. Was around $200 SHIPPED and thinking price drop to $175 SHIPPED. Have to check thread to make sure. Says open to trades too.
