Pioneer HA saw

I have just received a Pioneer HA chainsaw and I am wondering what back ground or history is on these saws. Does anyone have any that are running and how you like them?

I want to say the HA is the very first direct drive chainsaw built. Still used a float carb with swiveling tank/handle.

Cool old saw--I have 2. Both need carb kits and fuel system cleaning--future projects- post some pictures--mine are yellow..

Thanks for the info. Whats the cc's on this saw? The one I have is pretty rough. Is hard to find parts?

You're going to be limited, more or less, to finding another saw with parts you need.

I figured that would be the case. Its a pretty interesting saw. Might just have to leave it as is and take up some space on my shelf !!
