I have a pioneer partner 500 that was given to me and it did not run. I now have it running but I am having problems with flooding. There are 4 lines that come out of the fuel tank and I am thinking someone has hooked one of the hose up wrong. The fuel pick up is fine and goes to the carb. There are two brass hoses in a rubber grommet that go into the fuel tank. The one brass hose has a line that leads to the exterior of the saw. The other brass hose has a line that goes to the tank vent. Is this the correct set up or is something wrong? I do not have a service manual and I am unsure what is going on. Thanks

I think the early 500 5000 series used a vent type of fuel reclaiming but later saws don’t have it. I think if you plug others and only use the vent(double check that it leads to tank) and fuel supply line it should be ok and if still problem, it may not be that
