Hi I'm new on here, amazed at the amount of info.. Super site.. I have a saw with a 20" bar on it, I've been told it's about 57cc.. It was built with Poulan Pro and Pioneer parts (both names on the saw, yellow and orange).. On the plate where the serial number is the model says Pro455.. I have an 064 which I dearly love, but I paid very little for this 455 and its an awesome saw!! Just curious to know a little more about it, cc? hp? ect... Its been along time but a local logger said it looked like one he had built... Steve

Its close in profile, but has both Poulan and Pioneer names / parts on it.. Its orange and yellow:).. On the side of the air cleaner cover it says "farm saw".. I'm dumb to this but I'm assuming it was built shortly after Poulan bought Pioneer?? Steve

If you set it beside my 064 (also has 20" bar) and pick them both up, the 455 is a hair heavier.. Steve

Not surpricing, several Pioneer models became Poulan Pros, when the North American Pioneer/Partner division became Poulan Pro (new brand created by E-lux)........

It does look like the Poulan Pro 455.. This saw takes a likin-n-keeps on tickin!! Good sharp chain and it takes you for a ride.. Awesome saw.. If I ever have to rebuild this saw how hard or impossible might it be to find parts?? Steve

OoooohhhhhhhKkkk!!! I see now.. My saw is half-n-half.. Looks alot like the Pioneer version with Poulan Pro parts on it.. The serial number tag says pro455.. The Poulan version is 72cc, and Pioneer version 66cc, so I'll guess about a 70cc saw... Steve

Ive wanted a 455 for quite a while now, but after seeing the Farmsaw version Im torn.

Do I want a 455 with the bigger CC's of the cooler looking Farmsaw?

It actually is a 455

I looked at both then looked at my saw.. Mine is a Poulan Pro 455 with a pioneer handle assembly/ air cleaner cover from a farm saw, and the brake assembly is also Pioneer.. The motor is a Poulan Pro 455.. I've never had such a dependable, good running saw.. It's awesome!!! Steve
