Ive been hearing if I pipe my 041 I will burn my rings to heck is this true? Also what kind of power gains will I see with a large volume pipe on my 041?

WOW, there are so many things you need to consider answering this question.
Like what rpm's are we taking in the wood cause the higher the rpm's the more heat you are going to make, how much compression is your motor? What kind of torque band is the pipe made a small torque band or a large torque band. How lean have you got the carb set , how big of wood are you cutting, everything goes to how much heat is the motor going to be making, if you are going to use it for fun/ work you donot want alot of heat so you need to set things up to do that.

I am running 9000 RPMs, the compression is 150 psi, It has a broad powerband, and a fair bit of tourque and top end. And I use it for fun and I have the carb set up so it fourcycles in the top end.
