JPS hit it right on the head. The tree service industry spends its time, money, and educational efforts preaching to the choir. ISA, TCIA, and others spend endless finances to sell us educational material, and preach the values of their organizations, (our organizations) yet will not lift a finger or spend a dime to educate the public. Unless you count the website that you will not find unless you know where to look for it.

Comment on the work? Looks like chit, I wouldn't have done it,,,tooo many liabilities, and wouldn't want to be assosciated with the result.

Its a tough deal. I try to educate my customers. Some of them are receptive. Sometimes I feel like they went back inside to the phone book or just waited till they saw someone driving by. He mentioned core filling. As far as I've heard or read this is a no-no. Cut in the right places and let the tree heal itself. No core fills right? What about when they cut a piece of tin to fit perfect and tack it on there. I've heard this does no good either. And of course no pruning paint unless storm damage in winter.

I was joking in response to another post when I mentioned what to fill it with.

And again, I am not proud of the work and based upon the response my peers do not approve. Again, just trying to get some good advice on what to do in these situations.

Birds with chainsaw feet...LOL

That is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

That honestly looks like the old sherrill bumper sticker, if birds had chainsaw feet...... That is some rag tag work, whats the point? Some sort of 2-3 day gradification, until home owners neighbors are like what the f**k did you do to your tree. Then the truth starts to set in,,,,, I should of let that tree man take the whole thing down.:buttkick:
