OK, so I was searching for a little info on the Arborist cert'n exam and I have seen a few questions that were posted. I have also seen the rants about it... (so I think we can skip that)

So, my question is simply- my exam is on Saturday, does anyone have any tips or last minute advice on important things to look at (I hate tests and am starting to worry)? Anything you thought was really complicated? I have heard they do a bunch of double-negatives to trick you up.

Any help would be appreciated :)
If anyone took it in the PNW area, it would be great to know what you thought.
Thank you!

The time you spend reviewing plant biology and safety procedures will be well spent.

There are plenty of detailed questions about general plant biology, you won't overdo studying that part of it. Just learn the common tree names in your area, they didn't ask genus & species when I took the test.

There are not many questions about fertilization, so if you don't understand the mathematics on that part, just plan on missing one or two questions at most. There are better topics to spend your time on, if you are running out of study time.

Biology... study this section!! I still have to re-take this section!

good luck!

When your finished & have time left - go back & read each & every question ! Another tip- put a check-mark by each question you weren't sure of ! It's much easier to locate them. Lastly- don't rush - you are given plenty of time !!!!    GOOD LUCK !!!!!

Thank you!

That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for... went through Biology last night :) It seems like it has the most tricky bits.

:) thanks again
