wolf poles are best. they're cheap and the adjustment mechanism is simple so they dont wear and break like the silky and ars poles. both the blades are good but i prefer the ars, it seems to have less flex. i have an ars blade on my wolf pole
i should think its possible to get wolf poles and other various wolf tools in the states but i doubt you'll get the british made park prunner set/poles..do a google for wolf tools
Xander. The Lowes in Pueblo Colorado has the Wolf tools. I've looked at the system and thought it was neat but wondered how they hold up-evidently pretty well!
wolf poles don't have the exspensive feel to them like ARS ,or silky have but there half the price and very strong..im sure stanton and hope would ship a set of pole pruners out to anyone who wanted them they regulary ship out to europe
The Florian polesaw is strong--used it 5 years with minimal mtc--and easy to telescope--twist and click. I like using the Jameson head on it because it holds the blade with the stopper on the end to prevent pull-through, and because it has a good hook for hanging:
doesnt make me cringe half as much seeing my groundsman bending the heck out of my wolf pole trying to pull out a hanger as it would an expensive silky pole
