Pollination question

Can anybody tell me if Key Limes and Meyer Lemons self-pollinate? I purchased two small potted trees a few months back that have been sprouting numerous buds but each one of the tiny fruits fall off as soon as the bloom dies. Do I need to spread the pollen with a cotton swab (I have no bees around) or is there possibly another problem I need to identify?
