so cal
i bought a saw (Husky 365, 24 inch bar) and then bought a board maker at harbor freight of all places. then i found a guy reasonably local with some cedar he wanted to sell, for fire wood.
we talked, i explained the plan, and he agreed. it took me 8 hours from arrival to drive off.

so i put my cedar in my garage, stacked and seperated from each other with 1 by 2s and painted the ends with latex exterior paint. how long do you think it'll take to dry. i live in the desert, its 92F and 7% RH outside according to the weather channel app on my phone.

I just got my alaskan lumber mill in the mail yeasterday. i should be going back soon. i"ll post more pics.

okay so ill post pics once i figure out how to reduce my file size without photoshop.

If you need a free program that is an all around photo editing software package you can download google's picasa3 for free. just do a search and download it and install. It took me a little while to figure out how to change the file size of the photo but all you have to do is highlight the photo you want to reduce the size of and go file-export to folder- then a screen will pop up that gives you options, one of which is pixel size of photo, choose your size and save. just make sure you save it to a folder that you know how to find on your hard drive. then you should be in business. Cant wait to see your pics!
