i was just wondering if any of you guys have had any problms with the 372xp after its been ported. mine use to oil fine. but i ran it today (first time since i got it back) anyway it doesn't seem to be oiling at all like about less than 1/4 tank to full tank of gas. when i checked the oil it looked like it was milky or something like that. kept trying to adjust oiler with b/c off sometimes it seemed to be spitting oil out o.k other times not at all.

do you think there could be some debris in the line or maybe the pump is bad. help please!

Can't see where porting should have anything to do with the oiling. Mine didn't change; about 3/4 tank oil to tank fuel. It is not set max either if I remember. Start eliminating possibilities. Like pickup hung up or tangled etc.

The filter is a weight on the end of the oil pick up hose. It has to be free to fall to the bottom of the oil tank, no matter how the saw is positioned. Get a hook of wire and fish it up thru the filler hole and see it is not tangled or kinked.

im a bit surprised the the fello who ported it for u didnt discover any problem ,when he tested it before sending it back..
no names please as it could be a problem that developed in shipping or from the saw setting around..jmo
ps these shippers thro them packages around like they slinging firewood sometimes.

tony the very first cut i made with it i didn't notice. then when i kept messing with it it would be putting out great oil other times it wasn't. so at times when using it would be putting out great oil then i'd be in the middle of a cut and it wouldn't. so i dont hold him to blame.
