Retails for $450. It'll go for $350, no warranty cuz it wasn't purchased from an authorized dealer... There's 6 days on the auction and it's at +100 already.

Every Petzl product has a date on it somewhere and there is a 3 year warranty from that date, doesn't matter where it came from.

That's cool, most manu make you buy it through an authorized dealer to protect against huge companies using staw volume buyers, warranty and to protect service schedules.

As long as it stays below $200 I'd say thats a deal..Slayer..what saddle you usin nowadays?

I tried a couple of the newer nylon based saddles, had fit problems, I didn't like.

I keep climbing in my old trusty Leather Buckingham, been modified from a floater to a semi floater, :D and I've had extra stiching added by a saddlery shop to counter the wear, its near 15 years old.

That saddle will fetch plenty on ebay. Although it's possible it could do alittle better closer to spring. I am amazed at what some things sell for there. ESP chainsaws. I think it's rare to find a good deal there. IMO...although I did buy right n left petzl asenders (gold 1 n a blue 1) for the price of 1 new one last year. they were a good buy.

I have tried a lot of the newer saddles and I always revert back to my trusty old Weaver floating D that I have added some custom touches to over the years. On the swing the stiff batten seat wouldn't work for me. I put the Swing on for about 2 min and I knew I would hate climbing in it.

Yes it does, all the kids want these new fancy ones, with the big fat back, I'm small and don't like to have a bunch of stuff on me, old weaver basic with the leather leg straps! Tried that new.....crap, cant remember the name, new hot item that had some recall? To bulky for me. Had it since 02. Doesn't get much use anymore, so it will last for a LONG TIME!
