One question for you guys, how come when I post a pic its an attachment and some pics are just there? Am I doing something WRONG?

asset.php

How do you get them to post from PB?

Well done champ thanks for that.
But when i go to 'Manage Attachments' myne goes to 'File Upload Manager' thats not the same as yours, but anyway seem to have it worked out.Got to do the preview post thing and muck around.

attachment.php

I had the same problem...how did you get it to work?? :msp_mad:

Here's what I still get
attachment.php

Hey it worked....I think!!! I just went to manage attachments and clicked on get url and copied it to the url link...I just never clicked the dialog box that says Retrieve remote file and reference locally..that was the killer

what ever happened to if it aint broke dont fix it?
i used to be the guy with the opinion of "these old men just dont know how to use computers"
but after they change the pic posting procedure several times, you have to wonder WHY ?
why not just leave it alone ? it worked fine, half the site was already struggling to learn, now you go and change it AGAIN ?

i have to say the easiest way to link pics from the internet now, is to just type the img and /img boxes manually and insert the link in between

I don't think it's about being old, either you know how to do it or you don't. I did know but they changed the thing and I had to learn it over again.
attachment.php

It's actually very similar to how we did it before except when the colored box comes up uncheck the little thing toward the bottom and click on the URL button at the upper right. You have to do the "preview post" thing so you can right click on your attached image. Paste it in the horizontal line in the colored box. Other than that it's about like before. Thanks for the rep.

You need to go to your settings, and on the left side of the page, click on General settings, and near the bottom "Enhanced Attachment Uploading" set that to off, makes it much easier.

Here is the vid.
