I am thinking of selling my 306A or trade. Its in good shape for the age runs strong has new fuel lines and new 3/8 chisel chain 20 inch bar. if you are interested please let me know

i am not sure what a good price would be... so i am looking to see what offers i can get to make a decision of selling

Well, let's start with what do you want in trade? Stihl? Dolmar? Homelite, etc? Same size class, or something different?

ok i guess a wish list would be a strato stihl of 50-60cc non clam shell that could be ported with a lot of squish basically a great fun project... any ideas?

Speaking as someone who probably owns over a 100 Poulan saws, a 306 is not highly valuable nor is it a collector saw. Fewer cc' s than the 245 and the lack of anti-vibe takes them off the table for many as an everyday saw.

Interested. What is the compression reading? Does it run well after it heats up? Any major leaks around the bar oil tank? More pics of the saw all around would be appreciated. What price are you looking at? Been looking on Ebay but they want antique/collector's prices for some real turds over there. And they wonder why they don't sell. Hoping to find some level headed reasonable folks here. I grew up with these saws (ran a few at 12 years old, my first saw helping the old man do timber work) and that is the only reason I buy them and keep them around. Kind of like a first car thing. They are a pain in the A** to keep running and to find parts for but when you grow to love something you love it no matter what. Right price and I'll shot you the cash in an instant.

I've never had a problem keeping the 15-20 that I've had running...

Still interested in the saw. Let me know as I am looking at a few locally and I don't want to let them get away if you have decided not to sell yours.
