poulan 3450 gas leak in a seam?

im still looking for a parts diagram, but i dont know much about these saws. ive got a leak in a seam that appears to be the gas tank itself. not sure if its repairable, or just find a new one, havent taken it apart yet but looks like its part of the handle as well.

you can see in the screenshot below, the seam, as its leaking, i have it tilted on its side so it wont leak out a whole tank.

If you don't get any action here, repost it in the poulan "sticky".

Is there a vent line on that one, maybe leaking out that?
 
sorry i didnt see the poulan section... where is the vent location? when it lays like this, it doesnt leak with a few ounces of fuel, if i turn it upright, it leaks where ive indicated by the red circle.
 
It maybe the seam, but I would check the vent. It is located on the opposite side of the tank from where your showing the leak. It is tucked in the back. You have to remove the tank to replace it. It's a duckbill behind a stone filter.
