I am a relatively new member here. The wealth of knowledge from all the people is awesome. I'm not new to saws, I have several in my arsenal and have become addicted to the dang things. So I found a poulan 8500 that is complete minus bar and chain. Guy says it is low on compression. What is the good, bad ugly on these beasts? It looks the be in good shape. But you know how pictures can be.

Collector saw that is sought after big time. 85cc bad to bone saw. Heavy even just PHO. Parts harder to get.
Nice saw. What are they worth in good condition and running?
Well the saw is in Richmond, Utah. I told him I would pay for shipping but has never got back with me and that's been a week ago. If someone is close to there, he has that and several other old vintage saws for sale also. I can't buy if don't ship it to me.
