seller just had it tuned it up and had a new bar put on..., and wants $125 CDN funds. Reasonable price for the saw?

$50.00 would be a reasonable price. That is why you do not put new bars on those saws. Not worth over $100.00 even if it was new in the box. To close to the costs of the cheapy new Stihls and Poulans.

I would also say you can find them cheaper. But at $107.00 U.S., if it had a fairly new chain and bar and ran with no other problems its not that far off. Its a good solid saw.

These are nice saws, but its not very difficult to find nice ones under $50. I have a Sears version of the saw and I got it for around $30. As said before, the price sounds steep to me as well.
