Poulan Super Clean Question

Hi all, I've noticed on some of my Poulan saws they have the words Super Clean on the starter cover and I am curious as to what they are implying. In particular, what exactly does the Super Clean "seal" do? I am assuming that in one form or another it just makes the motor run cleaner by keeping less contaminants from getting to the cylinder, but is the system any more complicated than that? Thanks!

Sawtoter , from what I've seen the super clean engine has a cowl or sheet metal fixture that sends fresh air to the air filter . Take the starter off and you'll see it next to the flywheel .

Yes the design is pure Husqa/Poulan, just depends on the color to what you
call it............................................
