Is there a power limit for different types of chain?
Had 20 .325 .63 ga Stihl RS stretch a bunch on a 65cc saw. Chain is less than half used up and is already past the adjuster on the saw. Going to try an 8 pin rim to get more life out of it. The saw had lubrication issues for a bit. That has been fixed now.

Thanks for the input. Seems like we have a potential problem without some care.
The 8 pin rim solved the adjustment problem. Hopefully with the reduced torque and the right oil, the chains will hold up longer for him. We had cut the guides very low and had been relying on torque as well for speed in the cut, probably also hard on it.
He is extremely happy with the increase in chain speed so far, takes advantage of the smaller chain size, uses the torque better.
