Poulan Pro Arborist 190. I like the saw.
The problem I have had since I got it (new in '98) is that it will start on the 3rd pull, but then after it warms a little it will stall. I have had the dealer adjust it numerous times but it still wants to stall. AFter a few minutes it will run fine until you let it idle. This saw will start with only a few pulls even after a year of storage and fresh gas.. After idling it stalls.. Starts right up but occasionally dies when I pull the trigger..start it again and it runs fine. Any thoughts? We have tried new fuel, old fuel, different oil, different plugs etc. .
Thanks!

Does the idle is fast enough to keep it running idle ?If yes,i think you have to open the carb at least to clean it or replace the kit .When you pull the trigger ,she dies means you are too lean on hi speed needle,so open the adjustment a bit more and if she keeps doing it,open the carb to be inspected.

the idle feels fine. The saw will die then restart easily and run fine until it idles again.. doesn't always die. It has done this since I bought the saw. We could never get it adjusted to where it didn't stall...

She dies like too lean on gas?If yes,try to open the lo speed ,lets say 1/8 of a turn. When idling, does the RPM suddenly increases ?
