pressure test and or vacum test

You are mainly concerned about the saw sucking air, and the vacuum test covers that. I would test vacuum first.

If it fails vacuum, a pressure test will help locate the leak.

It is sometimes recommended that you test pressure even if it passes vacuum, just to be safe.
