grinder tooth configeration question
I've been grinding about 8 years with a Rayco 1625 Super Jr. My cutting wheel is designed with the teeth mounted on the face of the wheel, I use green teeth, 700 series red. my question is, I see some grinders with tooth pockets on the sides of the wheel ,lower than the face of the wheel, looks like a design to precut to allow a deeper cutting path on each pass, and intermitten in groups, mine are evenly spaced with a decline in groups of three.
Does anyone have knowledge of which cuts better.
Thanks, lmcc4088.
