I am a newby, this is my first post. I have been reading posts on this forum for over a month and really appreciate the info that you guys give. I have 5 saws. Three Homeys (xl Auto, Super xl Auto, C5), ProMac 435 and a Ms260. All are in good running condition, I use the old ones several times a year to keep them in shape. The MS260 is hardly broken in yet. I cut mostly white oak, blackjack and hedge (Osage Orange). I cut the white oak to split to make decorative rail fences.

I need a part for my ProMac 435. The chain tensioner screw vibrated out and I lost it and the nut with the tang that fits into the bar. My local dealers say tough luck on Mac parts. Is there someone that can tell me where I can get the screw and the tensioner nut?

Thanks

My Pro Mac 435 appears to be the Italian made one as pictured in gatkeper1's reply. I bought it in January 1985. (serial #11-010992) It has a 14 inch Oregon bar and chain. Just use it for trim & Limb saw. Works great for that.

I need the chain tensioner screw and the chain tensioner nut with attached tang for it. Should be one around if I could find the right scrap pile. But most of the local guys around here have gotten rid of the old Mac & Homelite stuff.

Greg, No I don't have or don't know of any ProMac 72's around here.

Thanks,

Jack
