Righto it is kohler k532 with a centrifugal clutch. I have a rebuilt shortblock and I want to swap parts but I'm worried I'll wreck the clutch. Any suggestions? I'll try to post some pictures

Okay this is how (from memory) I got mine off on a gravely 625 prochip, dont know if its the same. it might be different. Its wasnt easy and I tried lots of stuff over a day or two.

Once you have got the locking bolt off (mine was a hex head) and the washers etc off, I you need to make a pulling frame that will hold the clutch or adapt a gear puller to get the tight SOB off.

Mine was a frame made from 1 inch by 2 inch tube in a square "c" shape with about 9 inches in width (or whatever fits). Hole drilled for threaded bolt (in my case parts scavenged from a parts puller) and hey presto. You just need to apply heat, nutcracker and swear and curse until it FINALLY gives you a break.

Thank you! I will do as told. I talked to Gabdon industries they will build a new clutch to Promark specs for $699. I hope that doesnt become necessary!

HOLY COW! Unless theres nothing left of it, you can get it rebuilt, go to a brake and clutch specialist. Cost me less than 300 New Zealand dollars to get mine done, thats like 12 american cents and a snickers wrapper.
