First time for me...brings back old(tried to forget memories) of a pine that I took down with a Ford Ranger...lucky for me the rope was alot longer then
in the vid...but some of the top branches still grazed the cab...still has the dent in it to this day...:censored:

Good post! It has been my opinion for a long time that people are too quick on the "search function" trigger. The fact that something was posted 3 years ago doesn't mean that others haven't seen it.

I was involved in something similar back when I was a kid. The old man would not accept any "lip" and lip to him was advice of any kind. Clearing brush from a fence row, him on tractor, me hooking up. First bunch, he backs up and I hook him up. Now I could _see_ that that chain wasn't long enough but didn't dare open my mouth. The batch of brush was just water suckers coming off a stump, nothing of any gauge. He starts the pull and his head promptly appears sticking up out of the brush. Did I laugh? Not on your life!!...at least not at that time. That ended the 'clear fence row for the day.
