Awhile back oldirty was looking for a better way to hang his micropulley for use as a slack tender. My camera was broken so I haven't been able to post this untill now. This should be fairly easy for you guys to follow if you are already using a split-tail system.
first pic is of the pulley with a screw link and a short length of acessory cord tied with a double fishermans to create a mini prussic. assuming you already have the pulley this set up should cost you about $1.50 to make.
second pic is of it in action as a regular slack tender, difference is the pulley is right below the knot, no "slop" in the system.
third pic is of a set up like the "anchorbridge". the friction hitch is moved up by putting a websling between the saddle and the hitch. slide the prussic/pulley up and you can hand over hand the falling end of your climbing line without have to stop to tend the slack.
