So I watchin some vids on splicing and came across this plasma rope I know it's used in marine application or on a winch it's hollow so can't climb on it but it's 3x stronger and cheaper it says it has superior dry abrasion resistance anyone ever use this for a srt sling or maybe a loop runner on a zip line. Any other thing you can think of. Hear is a chart of rope size strength and so on.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426259884.339177.jpg note the strength of the half inch 31000 lbs tensile

I have used it for whoopie slings. It works pretty good. I have also used it on a ship and I can say we saw significant heat damage while surging the line with a capstan. I would use it for slings but never in a situation where it could run through a carabiner or block.
