Question for homelite guys

Is there an advantage (power increase/reliability) in the 1050 over the xp1000? Is the porting different? I know the 1050 jug will bolt to the 1000 chassis. Also does anyone have a rough idea what kind of h.p. the xp1000 made stock? Thanks guys.

No answers yet huh? Well I am considering buying one of the 1050 cylinders on ebay right now, but I don't want to waste my time if the swap offers no benifits. Thats why I am curious.
