They are cheaply made. I've heard stories that the welding breaks in those machines when in use. I had one demoed to me 2 years ago. since. When demoed and working, it seemed that it wouldn't last long before something went wrong with it. Better yet, the hydraulic hose of the machine that moves the cutting wheel side to side popped out and leaked all fluid. I recommend a Carlton SP4012 if looking for a medium sized stump grinder that fits in 36" backyard gates. We have had ours for 5 years and not a single main problem with it. Only replace parts that wear out. Good luck.
