Quick Bar oil tank filling?

Stihl & Oregon have similar and probably similar prices but I guess an old oil bottle will do

An empty coffee creamer bottle is much cheaper as in free. They have a snap close leak proof lid as well.

I’ve been using a 1gal gas can with the old school yellow spout for years and it works great. The spout is smallish and fits the little oil holes and it flows quickly for the big saws.

I’ve also used laundry jugs and they work very well. The clear pour spouts are great. The ones with the little buttons on them also work great. Let go of the button when you’re full and there is very little mess.

I use these type of containers. You can squeeze it for a quick no mess fill.

I put a gear oil spout on my bar oil jug. Cut the hose to the length you want, or just get rid of it.

That is my favorite. The ones from Menards are awesome and simple but some jugs they don’t fully tighten down.

I found pull to open spouts that fit regular plastic quart oil jugs. You can push it closed when it gets close to full, and if you over fill you can suck some of it back out. I use the upside-down ketchup bottles to squirt the longer bars in between cuts in really dry logs. You can also top off you oil tank if you want to.
