quick husky 262 question

any of you saw geniuses know if a case from a husky 254 will interchange with a 262

I have tryed too replace a body of 262, with a body off 254.
I had big hopes, tryed everythin, and still could not get it to run properly. I don`t remember why, so if you like I can look at my notes.

my 262 is just bein a prick and im losin patience im gonna set it aside and give it some thought. im in need of a carbeurator though any other saw take the same carb?
