rail splitter

anyone have any suggestions on post/rail splitters. I'm looking to get one before the end of the year and was wondering the best brands you all have found. i would love for it to be able to split 10' locust if at all possible

sure seems to me like you could make one pretty easy.

buy a log splitter, and swap the beam out for a 15 foot long beam.

i really doubt you need 10 feet of stroke. i'd bet 3 feet of stroke would be plenty, but don't screw around with the beam. buy a BIG one at a scrap yard.
