It's Sunday. It's Raining. The saws are gased up and cleaned. My ten chains are sharp. The muffler mods are done. Now what is a man supposed to do?

It's not raining here in SW OH. I've got plenty of work to be done on my woodlot. If you can get here I'll put you to work:D

It would be interesting to see Sony or Microsoft come out with a video game dealing with chainsaws and logging. Think of all the saws you could choose from and the trees you could fell. The US Army uses a video game as part of their training, why not a video game for the saw heads.:chainsaw:

As long as the ground isn't too slick where I'd be working I prefer to cut in the rain.

Maybe it's just out of habbit, yearly rythym, the fall always seems to be grey and rainy and that's when I cut most.

Come on guys, I was out cutting in the rain at 8:00 this morning.

Actually, there was a 14" red oak that was across the road just up from my house. It probably came down sometime last night in the storm. There isn't all that much traffic on my road, so who knows if the town crew even knew about it. Plus, it's Sunday. So I did my civic duty and grabbed a saw and opened up the road.

I should get time and a half on Sunday, right?

Rain lol. Just dropped a 21"-22" elm for a friend in his back yard in the rain, well ok it was a light misty rain. He told me it was a 16" tree, he only missed it by another 6 inches, so i took the Blue Dolmar 7900 with 20" bar. Bar didnt reach across, but being a very newbie faller, dropping trees scares me, rather cut cookies LOL, I still dropped it perfect right where I wanted it. I was happy, he was happy. So go play in the rain. Guy even bought one of my extra saws to cut the tree up with.

Nice chunk of firewood to boot... you didn't just roll it off the road did you? ;)

Yeah, I did. I'd have gotten soaked by the time I cut it up and threw it in the truck. I'll go up and grab it when the rain stops.
