Can someone out there tell me the part number for the banded v belt for this stump grinder. It has a Wisconsin V465D motor on it. The belt has four sheaves. TIA, Jim

Someone out there must have an owners manual for this creature. I priced a belt from a dealer last week and almost died. They wanted $430.00 for it. I could order it elswhere if I had a number. They wouldn't give me the number of the belt. They also did not have one in stock.

Here is what I cam up with after doing a lot of leg work on the internet and measuring my pulleys and belt The belt is 88 inches ID and 91 inches OD. The width is appx. 21/32 and depth of the belt is appx. 7/16. I found one on VBelt.com for under $60.00 delivered. I will update this posting when it arrives. Hopefully it will fit properly. The part number is B88/04 for anyone looking for one of these belts. Please wait until I get to try mine before buying one. No sense in ordering before I get a chance to see if it is the right one.

Jim,
Did that end up being the correct belt? I have this machine also and need a new belt. When I measure my belt I get 90 3/4" OD. I wasn't sure if it had stretched a little over time and would be a b87 or if it would be the b88 belt.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I should have gone with one a little bit smaller. It sometimes jumps the pulley when it is not engaged when the machine is on a tilted area. If and when I replace it I will be going with a smaller belt.

Min hasn't broke yet but I got 88 outside length so inside would be 86. Who on here has tried running four separate v belts on rayco 1665?

How has tried four separate v belts on rayco 1665? Will this work ? I can get Kevlar belts for 12.50 per belt.

I'd like to make a recommendation.

Y'all may want to try a banded belt as when a belt breaks, you have to replace them all. We've converted wood chippers over from single bands to banded belts and it has really helped the performance as the grip is better.

Hope this helps!
