Hey guys what do think about the sandvik razor wheel/teeth vs a wheel with green teeth? I’m considering changing my Carlton over to green tooth wheel so they can be rotated. Sharpening razor wheel is a challenge without removing them.

I think its a good idea, I am contemplating the same. I have had 700 series green(red) teeth, but razor teeth came with my Carlton 5014, and my new 6016. I would rather "cut" the stumps into strips, instead of "grinding" into dust and chips. Razor teeth have some advantages over green, but we have very few rocks here in North Louisiana, just concrete and metal usually found the day you put new teeth on. I will post a video on the difference soon, Clay Bryans Stumpgrinding.

WEll I can tell you that sharpening those razor units is a pia. More so than the others With the exception of the ones on the big Vemeer unit those are a double royal pia.
