I think we will see anything that can mess up your day somehow scripted in , when that Baffoon dropped tree and tried to go through the gate and crushed it I thought that he for once he was gonna pull off the 10lbs of **** in a 5 lb bag trick

Well, like said before, we all will see any BS they try to pass, but we are not the audience they are doing it for. Those dudes are probably having a blast and could care less of the criticism. Laughing all the way to the bank and hoping for their own spin off.

Would it have been less obvious if they installed some explosives?

They will hear about it. Maybe next time they will learn to drill a whole bunch of smaller holes, then it might look a bit more natural.
