I picked up a very nice Remington Super 754 this afternoon. If anybody is interested I can put some pics up here.

It's a one owner saw and I bought it from the original owner. It has the original bar and chain too! I paid way too much for it but you never see them as clean as this.

.404 chain
Rim drum clutch
16" bar

I filed and regaped the points and put a new starter rope in it this morning. Fresh gas and VROOOM! This saw has a great sound to it. Revs up and idles just like it should, this saw won't need any carb work.

The starter cover is cracked down by the lower left mounting bolt.

I don't think I'm out of line to ask $100 for it plus actuall shipping. It's a big cube saw in nice shape.

I have more pictures that I can email to those interested.

What bar mount pattern is this chainsaw bar

Does anybody know what type GB Bar would fit on this remington 754. Either a 26" or 28" with .404 chain. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, and have a great day!

Here is a very poor picture of the bar mount

That center is 9.5-10mm wide so finding a bar mounting pattern to fit shouldn't be too hard, the only thing will be getting the hole for the adjuster nut the right distance from center. Some homelite and older jonsered bar mounts might work.
