Red oak acorns?

I put about 25 acorns in pots off a red oak tree, they came up and it looks like the leaves have kinda dried up and curled back up. Just an experiment, im not out anything if they don't grow.

They are out in the oldmans little greenhouse. temp never goes lower than 65, and humidity around 50-70%

Redneck germination chamber

I did the same thing last fall with some red oaks and a white oak. The red oaks never did germinate, but the white oak is looking great (about 4" tall and two big leaves).
