Does anyone have any experience with RedMax saws? If so, what is the general consensus?

I was looking at their climbing saw until i noticed it weighs like 12 lbs.

i know they're not considered one of the upper echelon brands but, i can pick up a GZ4500 for dealer cost and I only cut down about one tree per week.

We have one but rarely use it. It developed an unknown carb problem after approx 1 year and Redmax stepped forward and covered it even though it was well out of warranty. It's light and well balanced and after it's warm it starts on the first pull every time so it's not a bad saw for trims or branchy stuff. Switch is in a bad location and it's underpowered.
