I just picked up a really nice PL 7A.
It has a leaky gas tank, so I plan to disassemble it and reseal it with moto seal and change the auto oil check valve while I'm in there because if it's original, it's probably shot.
I was thinking of just putting in a ball type mechanical check valve out of an XL 12.
has anyone had any experience working on these saws?
it's a nice one. I went over the 20 inch roller nose bar. squared it, closed the rails, put a new skip tooth chain on it. It also needs a new sprocket which I haven't been able to locate yet. anyone got a source on that?
