I have used it a few times with my own rigging gear. The only problem I run into is, sometimes the ring will wedge itself halfway inside the block. Creating a small pinch point on the rope. Anyone have any other ideas or tips on this? Sorry if this has been posted b4. I am new to this site.

So watched the vid a couple of times and the only thing I can think of is along the lines of the magblock by Buckingham, so maybe a couple magnets strategically placed could keep this from happening.
Thanks for sharing dude!

I don't know that you're getting a lot of advantage out of using that system... Seems to me that most of the load is on the ring and not on the pulley. The ring isn't designed to have ropes under rigging load run over it over and over and will wear. Nice idea, but you can probably do better just by hauling a rope up with a pulley tied on the end and then tying it off at the base. Just be aware that you'll be getting 4xload on the branch where the rope is - 2x from the pulley, then another 2x for the 1:2 created by the rope. In most applications this is just fine though. Its quick and easy to set and even faster to remove.
